“The Wire” Actor Jamie Hector “Starring” In Real Life Court Case
Seeing Jamie Hector again makes me reminisce about one of HBO’s best television program– The Wire–. Hector portrayed the calm, cool, and collected Baltimore drug kingpin. Now that those days are over we can catch Brooklyn native sitting in court with his lawyer buddy Kenneth Thompson, who is representing a baker suing the Westin Times Square hotel.
Hector said:
“I love what I do and if there is any way I can apply his methods in what I do, experience and observation always help,”
According to the New York Daily News Thompson’s client Moises Mendez is suing the Westin hotel chain and its parent company Starwood for a whopping $38 million in a racial discriminatory case. Mendez claims he was threatened and punched and subjected to racial slurs while working at the hotel. Co-workers allegedly came up with a vulgar nickname to mock his surgical scars from intestinal surgery. How the hell can anyone see your intestinal scars unless you show them?
This case sounds kinda bogus to me but there is a ton of mula on the line.
The lawyer who is representing Starwood is calling the whole story bluff because Mendez is a bipolar maniac who used the same nicknames as his accusers. Did we mention that he still works for the Westin Hotel? yeah.. so this is a total waste of taxpayers money but at least it gives Jamie Hector some extra time to do some research for another role maybe? possibly a Wall Street lawyer?
Hector has a couple of movies slated for release this year according to Imdb.com (none of which have to do with the law)–Bury Me Standing, The Suspect of St. Marks Place, and Just Another Day.

Jamie Hector’s Baby Shower Turns Into A Scene From The Wire
What the hell is wrong the borough Brooklyn especially Flatbush? They are wild as hell out there. Jamie Hector, 33 who portrayed the ruthless drug king pin Marlo Stanfield on the HBO hit tv series “The Wire” was hosting a baby shower for his wife in BK over the weekend when a damn shoot out occurred. It appears that a baby shower crasher exchanged gun fire (46 shots) with the guests. New York’s finest were called to the scene around 1:20 am and found 46 shell casings, a dead 17 year-old, and 2 guns and get this No One Was Arrested. N0 Snitchers live in Brooklyn. Jamie who is a Brooklyn native also starred on NBC’s Heroes. No word if Jamie was still at the party we are just glad that Jamie and his pregnant wife were not injured. On another note that must have been some ghetto ass baby shower.
