Rapper Tone-Loc Collapses During Concert

The “Wild Thing” rapper was performing in Pensacola, Florida early Friday morning when he collapsed on stage. Tone-Loc aka Anthony Terrell Smith, 43, was on stage at the Capt’n Fun Beach Club on Pensacola Beach when he mentioned several times how hot the weather was. It appears after performing six songs (who knew he had that many?) at the open air club it may have been too much. In Pensacola the temperature was reported to be in the low 80’s with humidity of around 87 percent. The Funky Cold Medina rapper is prone to seizures according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s who were securing the event. In January 2008 the rapper suffered a seizure in Charlotte, N.C but he was treated and was able to perform.
Besides being known for his rapping skills Tone-Loc is the voice for Pee Wee on the famous animation cartoon “BeBe Kids” starring and based off the late great comedian Robin Harris. The rapper was taken away in a amublance but he has been released. We are glad he is feeling better.
