D’Angelo Busted For Trying To Get A $40 Hooker
What the f*^k is going on with D’Angelo? His fall from grace is just gettting worse. The once sexy singer who had women throwing themselves at him has hit hard times. Michael Archer (D’Angelo) was arrested in New York’s West Village (between Greenwich and Horatio streets) at about 2:30 a.m. this morning when he spotted a woman he took to be a prostitute, sources said.
The only problem is that the prostitute was a undercover policewoman. D’Angelo offered the cop $40 for oral sex but was promptly arrested. The How Does It Feel singer also had $12,000 cash stashed in his pimped out Range Rover SUV. He was arrested and charged with solicitation after asking the woman for sex, the sources said.
Of course this isn’t the first time the Grammy award winning singer has been arrested. Rewind back to January 2005 when D’Angelo received a three-year suspended sentence for cocaine possession (that’s where the mugshot is from). Damn, 2005 must have been his year because he also had his license suspended for 18 months because of a marijuana possession charge and drunk driving. The worst part is that his new album is supposed to released sometime this year! From the looks of it he still needs to lose some weight to get back to his old self. This guy is a moron he should have known something was wrong when she had all of her teeth.
