Nighty Nite Conan

Conan O’Brien has his walking papers and wad full of cash to go along with it. The embarrassing NBC debacle is over with O’Brien getting $45 million out of the deal and Jay Leno getting his old time slot back. Out of the cool $45mil Conan will get to keep a little more than $33 million after he pays his 200 employees their severance pay. In addition to the severance Conan gave his staff and crew some extra mula out of his own pocket. Jay will begin his Tonight Show on March 1st.
O’Brien is free to start a new gig on September 1st but who knows where he will go. There are rumors that he is going to Comedy Central, ABC or even Fox which lacks a late night show. Unfortunately all of the skits and funny characters like Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog, and the Masturbating Bear that were once apart of Conan’s show are property of NBC (bummer). You can catch O’Brien’s final show this Friday, with Tom Hanks scheduled to appear as well as Will Ferrell — his first guest as “Tonight” host last June.
