Kimora and Djimon’s New Baby Boy Pics
Proud parents, 34-year-old Kimora Lee Simmons and boyfriend/hubby (aka second-baby-daddy) Djimon Hounsou finally released photos of their first child together, Kenzo Lee. This makes number 3 for Kimora and a baby brother for her daughters Ming and Aoki by ex-husband entreprenuer Russell Simmons. Both of her daughters are currently Baby Phat models, so we’re guessing Kenzo will likely be making his runway appearance in a few years!
One thing we’re still trying to figure out is that last name. Why is Kimora still rocking Russell’s last name, Simmons? Why not Hounsou? If it is true that her and Djimon are married (legally that is), I’m betting he’s thinking about it too. Guess Uncle Russ has that effect on women! We do love the pics of little Kenzo

Kimora + Djimon’s Baby Boy Name
Kenzo Lee Hounsou is the name of Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou’s baby boy! Kenzo Hounsou was born weighing 8lbs, 20 ounces. The name means wise and three in Japanese but could also have its roots in the fashion industry. Kenzo Takada is a retired Japanese fashion icon and could have inspired Kimora and Djimon.
We naturally found out via twitter. The Baby Phat CEO announced to her 20,000+ followers “What do you guys think of the name ‘Kenzo Lee Hounsou?” Kimora went on to add: “Kenzo is Adorable. He says Hi to all of you twitters.” She also said the new baby boy “looks just like Djimon yet has my eyes with a touch of royalty.” Kimora also promised more tweets. Do you think there could be baby pictures of her new arrival?

It’s a Boy For Kimora Lee Simmons!
Baby Phat CEO/ former model Kimora Lee Simmons and her actor/beau Djimon Hounsou welcomed a baby boy on Saturday. A representative for Kimora, 34 stated that: “Kimora and Djimon are the proud parents of a new baby boy. Both mother and child are doing great.” Of course we all have updates about her pregnancy because she tweeted while she was in labor!
“It’s time !! No turning back!. “At hospital in labor right now!” Two hours later after Kimora’s first Tweet, she wrote: “Having contractions now! Ooo- wee! It’s like WHOA!” and posted a Twitpic of herself in the hospital.(Doesn’t she look fabulous?!)
Kimora didn’t post anything after that but we can assume she will keep us updated. Simmons has 2 daughters Ming Lee and Aoki Lee with her ex-husband Entrepreneur Russell Simmons. Uncle Russ even tweeted Kimora by saying: “Congradations babe u make some preety babies.” (That is true) We are sure this little boy will be so cute and will have the best of everything from disposable cashmere diapers to blinged out pacifers. Congratulations Kimora and Djimon!

B-tches, Get Your Own Man!
WOW tell’em how you really feel! The exact words taken from Russell Simmons’ new GF Julie Henderson. Apparently, the 23-year-old is a bit upset about what some “people” are saying in the “black community” about her relationship with 51-year- old Russell. So like any other tech savvy celeb, she took to her blog. As you’ll see there was no way in hell the below post would have fit in her Twitter account.
“I have been spending “special time” with Russell for about 4 months and in that time I have learned some subtle things about some in the black community that have surprised me. I must say that while it has been a bit of a challenge for me, it has also been a wonderful learning experience. I realize that in this day of Obama and change that there is still a tremendous amount of poverty, suffering and pain in the black community, and for that I am deeply sorry. But, I have to say the angry responses to those realities are sometimes misdirected….Just for the record, I am nobody’s white b*tch, gold digger or fame chaser. Nor am I any of the other mean things I have been called lately. I don’t need anything from anybody, I come from a good family and I’m a young independent “successful” model making my way in NYC. (If you don’t believe me google me or go to juliehenderson.net).
Finally, I just wanna say that Russell has been a great “special” friend and I’m sure as sh*t not giving him up cause some in America object to our friendship. I wanna close by saying, what Russell always says, Namaste. (That means the goddess in me recognizes the goddess in you)….Or, b*tch get your own man.”
DAMN….didn’t the elections teach you anyone anything? Can’t we allllll just get along, hug,kiss and all that good stuff. Let’s be real though, Russell gave a freakin EMPIRE to Kimora Lee. Granted she DID work very hard at it, but without him would she have had ALL of that? We do understand how JH feels, but hey truth be told…it definitely is a strong business move.
