If you think you heard the last of Michael Vick think again. Back in April it leaked that Vick was shopping around for a reality show and we just learned that BET has picked it up. The reality show docu-series will be tentatively called The Michael Vick Project and is set to air eight episodes early next year. The Philadelphia Eagle is going to get the chance to tell everyone who he really is.
“I just want people to really get to know me as an individual. What I want to do is change the perception of me. I am a human being. I’ve made some mistakes in the past, and I wish it had never happened. But it’s not about how you fall, but about how you pick yourself up.”
It looks like Vick is going to be very serious about this because the producers are not going to shy away from his most serious issue–dogfighting and its impact on his professional and personal life. Overseeing production is James Dubose, who has produced hit BET reality shows like “The Keyshia Cole Show,” “Tiny & Toya” and “Frankie & Neffe”.
I am going to tune in just to see Michael Vick’s transformation and road to redemption what about you?

The NFL has reinstated Michael Vick BUT only on a conditional basis for now. After serving 23 months for bankrolling the dog fighting business Bad Newz Kennel he can now become a productive member of society again. The National Football League released a statement that Vick “will be considered for full reinstatement and to play in regular-season games by Week 6 based on the progress he makes in his transition plan,”
So what can Vick do for now? Well he can participate in practices, workouts and meetings and may play in his club’s final two preseason games under the conditions of his reinstatement. But (there is always a but) he first needs to find a team to hire him. At this point no one has taken the big leap of faith for the footballer BUT we hope someone will. Vick has paid his debt to society and its time to move on and get his life back on track.

Dog fighting kingpin Michael Vick can finally call himself a free man. As of today the once-future-QB Hall of Famer can take off the electronic ankle bracelet and walk past the end of his huge estate. His former team The Altanta Falcons had the ability to trade him, but last month decided to cut the bad news bear. Now Vick is a free agent, and everyone is wondering where he’ll go.
There’s a lot of chatter about where he’ll eventually end up. Unfortunately, that decision may not come around until September 1st. Teams are currently awaiting NFL commissioner Roger Goodell’s ruling, which could very well be to conditionally reinstate Vick. Considering the fact that Vick has taken a 2-year layoff, many teams just don’t want to sign him. He’s way too much of a distraction to add to a training camp and would dominate the media focus. Some coaches have flirted with the idea of having Vick on the roster only to be shot down by an owner who is worried by a fragile market of sponsors and soft ticket sales.
If the NFL doesn’t work out, there are also rumors that he may end up playing for $1 million a year tops in the UFL which is a new league started by ex NFL players and coaches which begins this season. After the scheduled UFL title game during Thanksgiving weekend, Vick would be free to sign with any NFL team.
So what’s going to happen to Vick? We’ll soon find out, but it’s obvious that wherever he goes we’ll be able to spot him on damn near every television station. Let us know what you think!

The 28-year-old who once stepped on to the field and changed the quarterback position entirely, has just taken his first step out of prison before dawn this morning. Ron Mexico Michael Vick was being held in a federal penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas and snuck past photographers and journalists to be moved back to his home in Hampton,Virginia and begin confinement in his spacious 5 bedroom house. The dog fighting kingpin was released only after serving a short 19 months. Talk about being released on time. We know where the house party will be THIS FRIDAY!!!
“It’s a happy day for him to be starting this part of the process,” Larry Woodward, Vick’s Virginia-based attorney, said. “He looks forward to meeting the challenges he has to meet.”
So it’s obvious that his main plan will be to reinvent himself as a good guy that made a simple mistake, and hopefully get back in to a starting position on the football field. Business wise, any team that picks him up is likely to sell a lot of tickets. We’re sure that it will also ignite a lot of pet owners. See what happens with you f-ck with PETA.
Now what we are really interested in, is the tell all book or interview that’s surely to come by some of the inmates or even CO’s. We’d love to hear the TRUTH. Did he get punked in prison? Did someone snatch his food up? Did he remember to keep the soap on the rope? Hmmm, well he does have herpees, so we don’t know of anyone would be that grimey. Although, it would be a REALLY BIG notch on somebodies cement wall. If you do recall though, it was pretty big news that he did hire a gang of Mexicans to protect him while he was locked up.
We’re dying to know!!!
