Do You Ladies Recognize This Guy???
We’re guessing you’re probably wondering who the hell he is. OK…now put a 10 inch afro on his head. Get it yet? No? Well that my friends’ is Maxwell. CRAZY RIGHT? It’s definitely going to take some time to get used to his new style and look, but the ladies are going to love his voice and shirtless body regardless.
The R&B heartthrob arrived in the scene in 1996 with his first album and style, and blew the doors off everyone in the industry. I’ve personally witnessed the godsent live, and will admit that he probably has the best live voice that I’ve ever heard. After his second album entitled Now, he basically vanished off the face of the earth. Eight years later, he’s back to let people know that his time off was only time needed to relax, grow, and enjoy life. Maxwell stated to AP:
“You need to live life to be inspired by music, so a lot of my absense was based on just going out to get life experience. Becoming a guy, becoming a man. I mean I’m 35 years old now and in your 20′s you’re just a sketch of what you think you’re trying to be.”
His new album Blacksummer’snight is going to give you some of those life experience in 3 very special ways. He plans to release it as a trilogy in 3 albums through 2 years. The first album will be released on July 7th.
