Gotti Find A New Crib
The once upon a time, 46-year-old mafia princess turned “Growing Up Gotti” reality star Victoria Gotti is obviously another victim of the bad economy. Yes, she too is being evicted from her gigantic mansion compound in Old Westbury, Long Island. Word has it that she hasn’t been paying her mortgage for the past 2 years. WOW, does it really take THAT LONG to get someone out of a home these days? She owes $650k to JPMorgan Chase, which is a debt secured mortgage on a $4.2 million mansion that she was awarded after her divorce to ex-husband Carmine Agnello.
The crazy part is that the Brooklyn Appellate Division judge thinks she is crying wolf. She had recently tried to beg for more time, claiming that Agnello secretly took out a loan for $850k in 1997 that she had no knowledge of. This apparantly left her with a debt that she had no knowledge of. The Appellate Judge obviously wasn’t feeling it though, because last week the appeals court gave JP Morgan Chase the green light to start the foreclosure process, reversing a Nassau County judge’s ruling to allow her more time to fight the case.
“I was awarded full ownership of marital property . . . and all I inherited was a house with millions of dollars’ worth of debt,” Gotti told The Post yesterday.
“This should finally put to rest all the government lies and rumors that I have $200 million buried in my back yard.”
We’re thinking that the judge that started the foreclosure process just may want to lay low for a while. Don’t wanna get popped for putting the mafia princess and her kids in the projects.
