Simon Cowell Is Engaged
American Idol judge Simon Cowell is getting married! The lucky (and soon to be rich) Afghan beauty Mezhgan Hussainy has been fueling rumors of an engagement because of the huge rock on her left finger. Cowell met his princess on the set of American Idol several years ago, and what began as friendship grew into love after Simon’s previous relationship ended. So you’re probably asking when is the big day? Well, we don’t know but we can only assume it’s soon really soon.

Justin Guarini Is Getting Married!!! Who?
It’s been awhile but if you remember the first American Idol season then you can recall the curly haired cutie pie Justin Guarini. The 30 year-old singer is marrying Reina Capodici Saturday on a private estate along the Delaware River near both their families’ homes in Pennsylvania. The two have known each other since high school but only started dating a couple of years ago.
“I’ve traveled all over the world but I found the woman I love right in my own backyard. I’ve known Reina since I was 15 but we didn’t actually start dating until two years ago … Her mother was my English teacher in junior high school!”
Reina has a little baggage a cute 4 year-old daughter Lola from a previous relationship. Congratulations Justin!

Paula Abdul Tells American Idol F*ck You, Pay Me!
Looks as though Paula Abdul is about the cut American Idol. She’s claiming that the measly $2.5 million a year she’s raking in isn’t nearly enough, and American Idol won’t cut her a better deal. I suppose we can see where she is coming from considering the fact that Ryan Seacrest just signed a $15 million deal. Let’s be real though, this is the only income she’s got coming in. It’s not like she’s ready to ink a new record deal anytime soon, and dance lessons are probably well out the door.
Abdul’s manager told the L.A. Times, “Very sadly, it does not appear that she’s going to be back on ‘Idol,” adding “Idol” producers have been “rude and disrespectful” by not offering her a new deal. He had also stated, says since “Idol” hasn’t offered her a new deal she’s now considering starting a competitive show.
WOW… a new show? We’ll see how far that goes. Good luck!

American Idol David Cook Brother Passes Away
David Cook’s brother Adam died on Saturday after losing his battle with brain cancer. Cook, 26 was at a Race For Hope, 5K event on Sunday when he announced the death of his brother.
“I actually lost my brother yesterday to a brain tumor and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else right now.”
The Race For Hope 5K is a benefit for brain cancer research. Cook’s team raised $98,000 for cancer research. American Idol judge Simon Cowell sent well wishes saying:
“I was incredibly saddened to hear the news. I met Adam Cook a few times at American Idol. He was an incredible guy, and right now my thoughts are with David and his family.”
