Katy Perry and Russell Brand Engagement Soiree
We are still in shock that these are getting married! Perry and Russell had a very traditional engagement party at II Cielo Restaurant in Beverly Hills along with 50 of their closest friends. The celebration wouldn’t be complete without cake that says Katy (Heart) Russell. Aww so sweet.

This Is It LA Movie Premiere
In case you didn’t get the hottest tickets in town last night no worries we have a recap for you. This Is It premiered yesterday and stars flocked to The Nokia Theater in Los Angeles to view the last rehearsals from the King of Pop. It was one of 19 screenings being held simultaneously around the world, from London, New York, Rio, Moscow to Berlin and Seoul.
Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Neil Patrick Harris, Paula Abdul, Katy Perry, Paris Hilton, Adam Lambert, and Jennifer Love Hewitt were just some of the celebs in attendance.
The “This Is It” director Kenny Ortega introduced the film by telling the audience that Jackson was “all about love.” Throughout the 112-minute film, Jackson fans screamed and roared their approval, with even some shouting out: “Michael Jackson — we love you!”
Not all of the Jacksons’ were in attendance. Papa Joe was at the Las Vegas premiere (thank goodness). Latoya decided to not attend because she thought that Michael would not want his rehearsals to be released publicly let alone be a movie. Jackie, Tito Jermaine, and Marlon were snapped walking the red carpet at the the Nokia Theater. Jermaine told Larry King that even though he walked the red carpet he was not going to view the film. Jermaine said: “I’m not going to be able to view this movie tonight, like other members of my family, who didn’t attend today, because it is emotional and I think I will be better watching it at a time when I’m more comfortable with it.
I think we can all understand and respect Jermaine’s decision. Michael’s kids Prince, Paris, and Blanket did watch a private screening which was most likely a touching moment for them all. Mother Katherine was a no-show because, according to Jermaine, the film’s release is “tough for her.”
The good news is that the fans get a glimpse into Michael Jackson‘s world. This Is It had already sold 6,000 tickets before Tuesday’s screening! Make sure to get your tickets because the movie is only in theatres for two weeks.

Katy Perry’s “White” Birthday Bash
Katy Perry celebrated her 25th birthday in true Hollywood style. Perry threw herself a Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory themed birthday party at LA’s restaurant The Beach. Guests munched on sweets and yellow and green mashed potatoes! Katy brought along her own armcandy Russell Brand who dressed in white along with all of the guests. But Katy had not told them that they would be playing with paint. One reveler said Perry and Brand
“Were totally loved up! Katy was having a ball and Russell was catering to her every whim. At one point he was down on his knees bowing and offering her a huge swirly lollipop. She grabbed it from his hands and pretended to knight him with it.”
What topped the shindig off was the oompa loompas in attendance. The party looked like a ton of fun with everyone leaving with dayglo paint all over themselves. After the bash Taylor Swift tweeted:“@Katyperry knows how to throw a birthday party! I would even go as far as to say it was party-licious. Best EVER. Happy bday, pretty girl!”

Russell Brand and Katy Perry Spotted Out Again
Russell Brand is quite the lady killer these days the past few years. The sex crazed maniac has been most recently been linked up with Katy Perry, but the two haven’t officially stated anything. Whether or not they admit it, the two are definitely making it easy for people to believe it. The pair was just spotted out in public again yesterday in London walking side-by-side, holding hands. Awww…so special. The couple definitely does look good together, but we all know he’s well known for lovin’ and leavin’em.
Maybe it’s because the two now have something in common. They both hosted the MTV Music Awards 2 times! Yup! Between their long drawn out sex sessions, she had time to make the following post on her twitter account:
“I’m hosting the MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS AGAIN,” she posted, “This time w/MORE outfits, MORE antics!”
Katy was caught leaving Russell’s london pad after a night out together at a party hosted by Jonathan Ross. Russell being the true English gent that he is even carried her overnight bag for Katy as she made her way into a cab on her way to Manila for a concert tonight. Seeing the two makes us think that the I Kissed A Girl singer and Brand are truly an item. The story goes that Russell sent Katy a poem he had written and she sent him a photo of her tatas! He then invited Katy to join him for a seven day break in Thailand last week. Hmmm. What we do know is that Perry tweeted:
“After a week in magical Thailand I’m ready to face the real world again. Been schooled on Morrissey, Oscar Wilde & Peter Sellers… inspired.”
Knowing Russell the two were not playing scramble all night!

Katy Perry’s Brand of Kiss
Katy Perry Kissed A Boy,,,And She Liked It. Katy Perry and Russell Brand were caught making out at Lady Gaga‘s MTV VMA after party on Sunday at Avenue. Russell who is well known for his womanizing (and has even won awards for it Shagger of Year Award) made a joke about his infatuation for Perry onstage but who knew he moved that fast? A inside source said:
“They were sitting very close together, flirting and whispering to each other with their faces very close. Then Russell leaned in for a long kiss. It didn’t look like this was the first time. He was looking extremely pleased with himself.”
It wasn’t the first time they two have kissed. Perry, 24 kissed Russell during her cameo appearance on Russell’s new movie Get Him to the Greek.
“I did a little cameo scene for his movie,” Perry said. “It’s really just a quick clip but I got to kiss him.”
“He said, ‘You’re a great actress.’ But that’s all I had to do — kiss him. I had heard all about his reputation and I have to agree he has a certain je ne sais quoi about him.”
We hate to break the news to you Russy but you were not the only guy Katy kissed this week. You are going to have some competition because on Friday night Perry was caught making out with John Mayer at Gold Bar.

Katy Perry Eats Pizza In The Buff
Celebs do the craziest things! Katy Perry just posted a pic to her twitter account and added: ” I have no self control.” Either way it looks like she knows the way to a man’s heart. No seductive music or lingerie needed. Sorry gents but Katy is actually sick on the Milan leg of her tour with a 24-hour flu which has caused her to think of crazy things. Check out what she said on her twitter page: “Why is it that after not eating for three days all I can think of is food… food is smiling at me… luring me with sexual seduction.”
Followers of Katy then asked what her favorite dishes were:
“BBQ chicken chop at CPK Chinese, chicken salad at Chinchins, Rock shrimp + yellow tail sashimi at Nobu, Crispy beef at Mr.Chow’s, endive salad at Le Petite, four curry chicken salad at Urth Cafe, my beloved double double at INnOut. Don’t hate on Jack’s Spicy Chicken sandwich! …I almost forgot… that damn crunch wrap supreme at Taco Bell. Okay that’s all for now.”
Katy then posted a future twitpic of herself after all of her indulgences.. which didn’t seem to turn off her male followers because she added: “More people are saying ‘I’d still hit it’ to the future me than the me now. Super size it!”

Chace Crawford Thinks Big Macs Are Sexy
In the current issue of Instyle Magazine they interviewed twelve of the hottest stars and asked them: What do you think is sexy?, What food do you find sexy? and What kind of clothes make you feel sexy? Joe Jonas, Katy Perry, and Chace Crawford are all on everyone’s top lists of sexy people but it was a great way to find out what the stars themselves think are turn-ons.

Instyle: What makes you feel sexy?
Perry: “A good dose of healthy flirting makes me feel sexy, like I still have it, shaving my legs makes me feel sexy too—it’s such a small little thing.”

Katy Perry and Travis McCoy Are Back On!
Katy Perry and Travis McCoy realized that they just could not live without each other so they are back on. The couple originally split late last year because of conflicting schedules. The Gym Class Heroes rapper revealed that they have “grown up” and learned to take it one day at a time. Travis added that:
“The break-up sucked. We’re back together now . I keep thinking about if I had to go through it again and how shitty it would be. We were moving way too fast. I was being juvenile about the entire thing. Now it’s easy breezy. I’m happy and in love.”
While Travis is glad he is back with Katy don’t expect any weddings anytime soon. The rapper went on to say: “I’m in no rush to get the ball and chain strapped to my legs.”
It’s great to see them back together again!
