It seems that at least every 4 months we are posting some kind of incident with DMX, and sadly enough we’re back at it again. Earlier today 39-year-old DMX (Earl Simmons) was arrested in Arizona. He allegedly violated the terms of his probation by using illegal drugs over the last nine months. Sadly enough, his mug shot says it all.
Now the hip hop star’s lawyer Gery Jenkins is reaching out to the man that is known for saving the stars…The one and only Dr. Drew Pinsky. Jenkin’s told TMZ:
“He’s been battling addiction for some time and he’s in need of treatment. We’re hoping that maybe Dr. Drew might be able to help him.”
This is by far not DMX’s first charge stemming from drugs, so do you all really think that Dr. Drew will be able to save the X man? Does this mean we may see him throwing tantrums and spittin’ freestyles on VH1’s hot reality show, Celeb Rehab or Sober House? Let’s hope so, and we hope he can bounce back from this quickly.

Lil Wayne is finally in jail and it only took a couple of dentist appointments and a courthouse fire to get him there. It was PURE CHAOS is lower Manhattan with photographers and fans all trying to get shot of the rapper. Accompanying Lil Wayne to court was rapper Slim and Cash Money records co-founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams. Dwayne Carter was sentenced for attempted criminal possession of a weapon after a plea agreement in which Carter gave up his right to appeal over a case in which a gun was found in his tour bus in July 2007.
In his free time before heading to do his time Weezy had time to make 9 videos, make a guest appearance at Jay-Z’s concert at MSG, and also film a documentary for MTV called “Road to Rikers” . What an idiot this kid is.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell literally beat her assault case this week from her driver. The diva who has a reputation of beating bitches down is ready to move on–for now.
“On Tuesday, March 2nd, I was accused of unacceptable behavior towards a driver in New York. I have worked very hard on correcting my previous wrongdoings and I will not be held hostage to my past. I try to treat everyone with respect and I am pleased the driver has apologized. I would like to put the last few days behind me and move on.”
Naomi’s driver Driver Miodrag Mejdina decided to not press charges saying:
“This whole thing has been blown out of proportion and I apologize to Ms. Campbell for causing that to happen.”
Hmm, this sounds like Miodrag was paid to shut his mouth and keep his job. It appears that Naomi picks and chooses who she slaps around, beats up with a cell phone, or assaults at international airports. We doubt she would try this stunt with Shaqwasha Williams from Brooklyn! Someone may need to teach Naomi to keep her hands to herself for once and for all.

Once again Lil Wayne has managed to postpone his jail sentence. Dwayne Carter aka Weezy was due in court on March 2 for his 2007 gun charge until a fire broke out at the Manhattan Criminal Court Building. Supposedly the fire was caused by a electrical wiring default in the basement AND the sprinklers were not working. Talk about luck huh?
It was then thought that Lil Wayne would appear on Wednesday but his hearing has now been delayed until this coming Monday. When my Uncle Lou Lou had to get locked up there were no delays they took his a$$ straight to lockup. In his free time Weezy had a surprise guest appearance at the Jay-Z concert at Madison Square Garden.

Lil Wayne along with MTV are creating a documentary style video of his life before his jail term. I wish there was something more to say but the videos are quite boring. Weezy mentions how he wants to his fans to follow him on Twitter but boo aren’t you going to jail in like a day? What’s the point? There are no computers for inmates at Riker’s Island! It would have been nice for Lil Wayne to say something positive you know along the lines of going to jail is not cool, or I’m scared for my life, or I’m gonna miss my family, or I made a dumbass mistake. Lil Wayne will have plenty of time to think about his mistakes since his schedule is pretty much free with 4 a.m. wakeup calls for breakfast, 11 a.m. lunchtimes, and 3 p.m. dinners. The rapper is allowed to receive two visits per week, which can be any day of the week or weekends at various times but what’s a guy to do when he was more than two baby mamas?
Check out the video of Lil Wayne’s Road to Rikers.
Part I:
Part II:

Jayson Williams was handcuffed and led out of the Somerset County Courthouse today by marshalls after he was sentenced to five years in jail after pleading guilty last month to fourth-degree aggravated assault. Williams will have to serve a minimum of 18 months in prison before he is eligible for parole. Jayson’s prison term could be served consecutively with his DUI conviction from January 5th, if he pleads guilty. Court papers say his blood alcohol content was 0.19.
The 42 year-old gave a heart felt apology to his family, friends, and relatives of Costas “Gus” Christofi.
“I know there’s nothing I can do to bring Mr. Christofi back,” Williams said to Christofi’s family. “I am deeply deeply sorry… I pray that today brings you some comfort.”
“To my family, please forgive me for the pain I’ve caused you,” Williams said, his voice cracking. “You deserve a better father, son, brother than I have been.”
| At sentencing Jayson Williams apologizes to Christofi family |

Former NBA baller Jayson Williams is facing some jail time today. On February 14, 2002 Williams shot and killed his limo driver Costas “Gus” Christofi,55 while “toying” with his shotgun. Jayson was finally sentenced in 2004 but not for manslaughter but the lesser charge of covering up the deadly shooting. What seemed to follow an eternity of legal delays Jayson is expected to serve only 18 months. So you would think that once you beat a murder rap you would stay out of trouble right? Unfortunately, this was not the last brush Jayson had with the police in January he was charged with a DUI after crashing his Mercedes jeep into a guard rail and then lying to the police that he was not the driver. We see a pattern here with Jayson.

So with Tiger Woods out of sex rehab and working on marriage with Elin its time to get back to work and do what he does best right? We hope. On Friday Tiger plans to release a statement at the PGA headquarters in Ponte Vedra, Florida around 11 am. The selected press and close friends will get to hear up and close the golf great apologize try to mend some relationships and tell the world that he is returning to golf this season for all of the tournaments. Unfortunately, Woods will not be taking any questions from his select press junket. We wonder if Elin will be there? Her presence at the press conference or not says alot doesn’t it? For now enjoy the pics of Tiger on the loose in Orlando, Florida.

UPDATE: It looks like Lil Wayne’s diamond encrusted grill is going to stand in the way of his imprisonment. He had to take a trip to the dentist office to have his bling bling removed so he is going to report to jail March 2nd.
The Grammy-winning rapper is going to be sentenced this afternoon after pleading guilty to gun charges. As apart of his plea deal Lil Wayne is going to spend a year in jail but he could get out early in eight months for good behavior. Lil Wayne will most likely start his sentence immediately but he will not be reporting to a state jail since he is heading to Rikers Island where there are over 13,500 inmates. The New York City run system is used to rappers in their presence with Remy Ma serving 7 months before being sent to a state prison for 8 years and we can’t forget the ill nana Foxy Brown’s quick 8 month stint after beating up a nail technician. One thing for sure is that this is not California and Lil Wayne will get no special privileges. We just have some advice for Lil Wayne keep your pants up and don’t drop the soap!
