The Beautiful Life Is Dead On Arrival
Mischa Barton can get back to her life of boozing and drugging because her CW show The Beautiful Life has been canceled after just 2 episodes. As much as we all kinda wanted Mischa to get back into the swing things it just didn’t seem to work out. The show was doomed from the beginning with Barton being hospitalized with drug/mental breakdowns which caused production to be halted until she got better. When the show did resume it only got like 1.5 million people tuning in to see her. The worst part was the second episode which aired on Wednesday only had 1 million viewers. I guess Mischa will be hitting the unemployment line like the rest of us.

Mischa Barton Is Back To Herself Again
After suffering a mental breakdown this summer it looks like Mischa Barton is back to doing what she does best. Mischa struck a pose for the cameras in Soho, New York for a photo shoot donning several hot outfits. Mischa denied her recent stint in the psych ward of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center was related to mental illness but instead blamed it on stress and get this pain from her wisdom teeth being removed. Yea right! We are just glad she is back to work!

Mischa Barton’s 3 Day Coke Binge Leaves Her Crazy & Suicidal
I don’t know what is going on in Mischa Barton‘s head but we are glad the former OC star is in a mental institution. The Party Girl has been having too much fun and its effecting her work. Mischa has already missed the New York premiere of her movie Homecoming because she was allegedly high on cocaine and prescription drugs.
After Mischa was 5150′d last week (aka your ass is too damn nuts for your own good) and hospitalized word on the street is that Mischa wanted to kill herself. Friends at her West Hollywood home had to call the cops last week Wednesday so that the 23 year-old actress would not kill herself. Mischa is currently being held at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. A close friend says:
“She is a mess.She is a tortured and troubled person. You can survive a bad review, but when you don’t show up for the premiere of your new film, it’s not a good sign of where your career is heading.”
A day before Mischa was 5150′d she was spotted at a LA hotel sunbathing topless and looking very bloated and to be honest completely unrecognizeable. An insider says:
She’s running out of money and can’t find love. She’s looking for a good time to escape her misery. She is on a downward spiral.”
This downward spiral has been happening for quite some time. On Dec. 27, 2007, she was pulled over and arrested for DUI and marijuana possession, and later released on $10,000 bail. Also in 2007 Mischa was caught by papparazzi driving while smoking what appeared to be some of that sticky icky.
We hope she gets it together and soon. Mischa is starring in the CW series The Beautiful Life which was supposed to begin taping on July 22nd but has been pushed back a week to accomodate the wayward actress.

Mischa Barton Bares It For Cosmo
Mischa Barton is letting it all go in the UK May 2009 edition of Cosmopolitan. The actress best known for her role as Marissa in the “O.C” has been ridiculed for her massive weight gain over the past year. Mischa spoke about the not so nice pictures that were taken of her:
“Surely there are more important issues than if someone has cellulite?” she said. “And I don’t understand the point of people looking for bad things. Why bother? I know it’s human nature to want to pick on other people, but I find it a little shallow.”
Mischa went from a size 12 to a size 6 in one year! and she said she was able to do it because of her breakup from her boyfriend Taylor Locke the guitar player from the group Rooney. We hope the weight loss was also from exercising and eating right. The actress went on to say that:
“Everyone has issues about their body, but I feel confident now. I’m healthy and happy,” she said. “I think people see celebs as having these perfect lives,” she said. “But that’s not true.” “Instead, what counts is that the people in your life – your family and friends – think you’re a nice person.”
Good for Mischa we are glad she is healthy and happy with her body.
