Billy Joel and Katie Lee Are Heading To Divorce Court
Piano man Billy Joel and his third wife Katie Lee are getting a divorce.
“After nearly five years of marriage, Billy Joel and Katie Lee Joel have decided to separate,” a joint statement on behalf of the pair said. “This decision is a result of much thoughtful consideration. Billy and Katie remain caring friends with admiration and respect for each other.”
Poor Billy can’t seem to get it right with any woman. We can’t say we didn’t see this one coming especially after all of the drama that went down when Katie was hugged up all over Israeli designer Yigal Azrouel early this year.
“Their decision to separate was absolutely unrelated to Yigal.” Joel’s spokeswoman, Claire Mercuri told the New York Daily News. “Billy’s doing fine,” Mercuri said. “He’s looking forward to resuming his Face2Face Tour with Elton John.” This blows big time we hope Billy has a tight prenup so she doesn’t get all of his money.

Fashion Designer Yigal Azrouel Hitting On Billy Joel’s Wifey
Reports are surfacing that Katie Lee Joel the 27 year-old wife of singer/songwriter Billy Joel is cheating on him with fashion designer Yigal Azrouel. The 59-year-old Joel is constantly on tour which left plenty of time for Katie and Yigal to get close and comfy with each other. According to a source :
“She (Katie) goes everywhere with him. He’s into brunettes, and Katie is his right-hand woman. They’re so close that Yigal even watches Katie’s dogs when she’s away.”
The Piano Man and Katie live separate life’s with Billy living in his Long Island mansion and Katie staying in their NYC apartment. Billy also most likely thought that the fashion designer was gay so he may have even encouraged the relationship. Yigal is a former Israeli military man and according to an insider has “slept with several high-profile female fashion editors. It’s understandable that everyone would think he’s gay, as he’s a man of fashion in NYC, but he isn’t,” says the source.
The couple have only been married for 4 years. The thrice married Joel sure knows how to keep ‘em.
