UNBELIEVABLE: Donte Stallworth Gets 30 Days For Killing Someone
Say it ain’t so? Cleveland Brown wide receiver Donte Stallworth will only spend 30 days in jail for his DUI manslaughter that killed Mario Reyes in March. The plea agreement was reached on Tuesday and Stallworth will begin his sentence immediately (good news).
Stallworth, 28 in court yesterday with his mother by his side (what a pu**y) offered his “deepest condolences to the Reyes family.Though I cannot bring back Mr. Reyes or ease his family’s pain, I can and will honor his memory by committing my time, my resources (aka MONEY) and my voice by educating this community about the dangers of drunk driving,”
The Florida state attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle called the judgment “just” and said that Reyes’ family supported the plea agreement. Did they have a choice? If it was between no jail time and 30 days what would you choose? Gimme a break. Rundle said in a press release that Stallworth cooperated with police and did not have a record of traffic violations or criminal convictions.
“Although no sentence can ever restore Mr. Reyes to his family, the provisions of this plea will provide closure to them and appropriate punishment (aka a loss of some serious change) for Mr. Stallworth’s conduct and the effects of his actions that night,” Rundle said.
DONTE’S STALLWORTH’S BIG PAYOFF
Chris Lyons, Stallworth’s lawyer said that an “amicable” financial settlement was reached with the Reyes family. Lyons did not disclose the amount, but said the short jail term “had nothing to do with Donte Stallworth being a celebrity, a professional football player or money.” Uh yeah right. But if the family is happy to take blood money who are we to complain? Lyons went on to comment:
“He [Donte] already had dedicated his life to serving the community outside the public eye, he is really looking forward to the enormous responsibility that he has to go out there around the country, giving public service announcements, speaking at high schools about this tragedy, so that people can learn from this and not have it happen again.”
So are you wonder what happens next? Stallworth faces two years of house arrest, but he can still play professional football. How is it that Michael Vick gets sentenced to 23 months in jail for animal cruelty and serves 19 months, and Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail for DUI but served only 23 days?

Rihanna’s Back Home
Riri is back in Barbados after jet setting across the world and back. Her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown is expected to plead not guilty to his two felony charges (making criminal threats and assault) tomorrow when he appears in court. Lately we have not heard or seen the two together since their stay at Diddy’s mansion in Miami. Rihanna has been spending her time in NYC and Barbados while C-Breezy has been in his hometown of Virginia. No one is really sure if Riri will testify against Chris but she wanted to as far away from LA as she could. Check out the pics below!

Cleveland Brown’s Stallworth Charged With DUI Manslaughter
Donte Stallworth was charged in a Miami-Dade court with DUI manslaughter for the death of 59-year-old Mario Reyes. Stallworth was driving drunk after a night out at a swanky South Beach nightspot. Stallworth’s blood-alcohol level after the crash was .126, well above Florida’s legal limit of .08, according to results of a blood test. Stallworth was also charged with DUI, which carries a possible six-month sentence plus fines and community service for first offenders. Stallworth’s lawyers are expected to fight the results from the blood test. Stallworth was released on $200,000 bail, if convicted he could face 15 years in jail.

NFL Star Donte Stallworth Hits And Kills Pedestrian In Florida
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte Stallworth has killed a 59 year- old pedestrian Mario Reyes early Saturday morning. Mr. Stallworth is cooperating with the police and no charges have been filed yet but he is being detained for questioning. Out of routine police officers have drawn blood to test for drugs or alcohol. The results from the blood test will not be available for at least 2-3 days. Stallworth currently has a 7-year contract with the Cleveland Browns worth $35 million dollars, he was expected to receive a $4.75 million signing bonus payout on Friday (I think a stop check has been issued). Donte’s season with the Browns has been lackluster because of his injuries, unfortunately he has sat the bench for a majority of the time. Maybe this is a good reason to cut him.
