Palin To Resign As Alaskan Governor
Good ridins to Governor Sarah Palin, as she finally decides to step down as Governor of Alaska (the state in which gave her such a front row seat view to Russia). Palin called a news conference to her home in Wasilla, and funny enough, not many reporters made it to the announcement. I doubt I would have went running either! Dave Murrow, (a rep) finally emerged to confirm that Palin will step down July 26. He refused to give details about the governor’s future plans. Word has it that she had stated that she had been considering leaving office since she decided not to run for re-election.
Palin stated, “Many just accept that lame duck status, and they hit that road. They draw a paycheck. They kind of milk it. And I’m not going to put Alaskans through that. A good point guard this is what she does, she drives through the court keeping her head up so she can see the basket and knows how to keep the ball up and pass, and that’s what I’m doing.“
WHAT THE F-CK does basketball have to do with this??? Now the gun touting republican will plan on serve the public in other ways outside of the governors chair. This obviously means her shots as running against an unstoppable President Obama, are over! As if she had a shot anyways. We were really looking forward to hear her fumble through more interviews, and possibly let us know what other countries she can see from her bedroom window.
