Bollywood Star Heading to Hollywood
Slumdog Millionaire actor Anil Kapoor has joined the cast of the hit tv show 24. The 49-year-old actor will play a Indian counter-terrorist cop who teams up with Jack Bauer (Keifer Sutherland) to fight the terrorists. Season 8 of 24 is going to hit with two bad asses torturing and killing terrorists in the US and abroad. The Fox hit tv show 24 has won numerous Emmy and Golden Globe awards.
Slumdog Millionare picked up eight Oscars this past year, including Best Picture and Best Director. 24 is currently in its seventh season with the two-hour finale airing this Monday@ 8PM ET/PT.
This is great for Anil because it will mark his American tv show debut, but let’s be honest its nice to have a little of desi on primetime!
