Michelle Obama Keeps It Sexy
Last night the President and First Lady Michelle Obama paid a quick visit to the 32nd annual Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s Awards Gala on Wednesday night in Washington, DC. The stylish First Lady wore a black sequin dress, her lucky inaugeration bangles, sparkly earrings, black high heels, and her hair in a cute little updo. Justice Sonia Sotomayor, the first Latina Justice was in attendance. Honoree Marc Anthony received a Lifetime Achievement Award from President Obama. Anthony who celebrated his 41st birthday had his leading lady Jennifer Lopez by his side. The gala marks the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage month which is celebrated between September 15 to October 15.

It’s Your Birthday!!! Happy B-Day Sasha
Happy 8th Birthday to Sasha Obama!
How great it must be to spend your birthday in London. Yesterday Sasha, Malia, and the First Lady spent the day sightseeing at Westminister Abbey and they even saw the Disney musical Lion King at the Lyceum Theater in London’s End.
After the lights dimmed in the theater the Obamas sat down to enjoy the musical but it was not long before the 2,000 theater goers saw Sasha and Malia watching the play. “The children were clearly having a good time,” one fellow audience member . “There was quite a buzz in the theater once people spotted them during the first part.”
During intermission, everyone was basically taking out their cell phones to tell friends of the Obamas in the theater. Afterwards, an audience member said “I saw the girls skipping back into their box from their private room.” We love how Sasha has such a great personality. We hope she eats lots of birthday cake! First Lady Michelle Obama Is A Stunner!
We all know that our First Lady is pretty hot especially with her smoking arms! but apparantly so does Maxim magazine. Michelle Obama has made history by being ranked in the annual top 100 hottest woman in the world by the magazine. Coming in at #93 First Lady Michelle Obama is sure to be a repeat beauty. Maxim also noted that her husband President Barack Obama “may be dealing with two wars, an economic meltdown, and a rapidly graying dome, but at least our Commander in Chief gets to come home to the hottest First Lady in the history of these United States”

Michelle Obama and Mom Grace Essence Magazine
First Lady Michelle Obama and her mother Marian Robinson cover the May edition of Essence Magazine. Mrs. Obama talks about her role as First Lady, being a mother and wife. Michelle had nothing but praise for her mother saying:
“She completely underestimates her role in who I am. She always says, “You came here that way, I just stayed out of your way.” That’s not how I saw it. My mom is an incredibly intelligent and insightful person about life in general. From the time we could talk, she talked to us endlessly about any and everything with a level of openness and fearlessness that made us believe that we were bright enough to engage with an adult, that we were worthy enough to ask questions and to get really serious answers—and she did it with a level of humor. There were many times when we were in the midst of getting spanked or disciplined and she would start cracking up. She taught my brother and me not to take things so seriously; to work hard, but to learn to laugh at situations and laugh at yourself and then to move through it.”

Michelle Obama’s Royal Touch
First Lady Michelle Obama and President Barack Obama are in London for the G20 summit this week. With all of the pomp and circumstance meeting Queen Elizabeth II in Buckingham Palace it was nice to see the Queen break protool and touch Michelle! The 82-year-old Queen is pretty uptight and is known to in an unmistakable way let people know when they have overstepped their mark. Did the First Lady break protocol? No, she didn’t according to a spokesman at Buckingham Palace.
A Buckingham Palace spokesman who asked not to be identified because of palace policy said he could not remember the last time that the queen had displayed such public affection with a first lady or dignitary.
“It was a mutual and spontaneous display of affection,” he said. “We don’t issue instructions on not touching the queen.”
I think the Queen also loved the ipod that Barack gave her!
