Charlie’s Angels star Farrah Fawcett has passed away today at 9:28 am PST at St. John’s Heath Center in Santa Monica, California at the age of 62. The international sex symbol had been battling anal cancer since 2006. Farrah was courageous and an informed cancer patient who took her health into her own hands by seeking state of the art cancer treatment in Germany. Millions have followed Farrah from her ups and downs in her love life with Ryan O’Neal to her sons public battle with drug addiction. Farrah recently filmed a documentary regarding her fight with cancer, it was a very personal story that was also difficult to watch for many. Farrah was much more than a movie star. She will be missed.
Farrah is survived by her longtime beau Ryan O’Neal and their son Redmond O’Neal. No funeral arrangements have been released as of yet.

The drug addicted son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan o’Neal was arrested on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the visitors parking lot of the Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic, California for possession of heroine and xanax. Redmond was allegedly seeing a friend in jail when the police searched his car because he was acting erratically and drawing attention to himself. What an idiot!

Redmond O’Neal, son of actress Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal has been kicked out of the Clearview Treatment Center in Venice, California for “dirty test” results. Ryan and Redmond were arrested September 17, 2008 after methamphetamine was allegedly found in their Malibu home. Redmond pleaded not guilty to drug charges earlier this week and will have another court appearance on May 14th. The 67-year-old actor Ryan O’Neal, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and agreed to enter an 18-month drug rehab program. He will appear in court again on July 10. This is not helping poor Farrah who is fighting cancer.
The 24-year-old druggie has a long history of drug abuse and it makes no sense for Ryan O’Neal to attempt to protect his son who needs help. Redmond entered rehab to be treated for heroin addiction in 2004 and last June pleased guilty to drug possession and driving under the influence. Redmond’s lawyer Mark Werksman stated that: “Dealing with Redmond’s problem over the years has been difficult for Ryan and his family, and this is another tough load for him to absorb.”
