Sophie Monk’s Plastic Surgeon Boyfriend
What looks like a movie set is the great weather and scenery of southern California. Sophie Monk and her new boyfriend Dr. John Diaz. We don’t too much about this guy but he is a plastic surgeon…eh hem can you say free nose job? Sophie is actually perfect in her little red dress. The leggy Australian beauty and Diaz were enjoying a romantic dinner in Beverly Hills as they flirted and laughed together. This is a nice change for Sophie especially since her breakup with ex-fiance Benji Madden in early 2008. It looks like Sophie has moved on but not Benji. The two recently bumped into each other at a restaurant when Sophie got the cold shoulder. In a radio interview with Australian radio show 2Day FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Monk spoke about the encounter.
“I saw him the other day actually but he wasn’t as warm or welcoming as I was. I gave him a hug, but no arms came out, it was the worst! It was so embarrassing.
I went out of my way to go to his table at dinner and everyone was looking at me so I was like, ‘OK, I’ll just back out.’ Then I had a couple of glasses of wine so I went back and did it again, I thought, ‘Oh hell, I don’t care, I’m bigger than this. I’ve got no issue with him.’ It didn’t work again so next time, I might not do that. I can’t do that though I’ll always say hello.”
Monk is happy and is glad Diaz is not in showbiz. “He’s out of the industry completely.” She added, “Everyone’s going to pick me apart now, even though I’ve had nothing done. But my mum’s going to hit him up, she’s like, ‘What can he do for me?’”
