Whitney Houstons New Video: Million Dollar Bill
Everyone’s been waiting anxiously to see what some of Whitney Houston’s new tracks sound like, and here you have it. She just completed the video above for her song titled, Million Dollar Bill (Hope she’s not rolling anything with that) . She’s still got that old school sound. Honestly, we aren’t really feeling it that much. It’s not the stuff that sells. It sounds more like something that was on one of her early 90′s albums. We hope this is a top smasher!

Wendy Williams To Whitney: Own Up To Your Coke Habit
Yesterday morning was a emotional day on the Wendy Williams Show. The radio talk show diva turned talk show host broke down when she spoke about her past cocaine/crack addiction, sobriety, and recovery. Wendy was upset with Whitney for not owning up to her drug addiction and for blaming it on her ex-husband Bobby Brown. According to Wendy the interview was “very controlled” and she was let down by Whitney because of her lack of ownership of her past addictions. While Wendy does have a point we have to give Whitney some slack because she is in the first steps of recovery and maybe she is just not there yet. Whitney was most likely using drugs before she met Bobby so no one was fooled by what she said during the Oprah interview. The second part of the Oprah/Houston interview aired yesterday and Whitney elaborated that she does not need to make money off of her past addiction and her main goal “was to be relieved of it.”

Whitney Houston: “Bobby Was My Drug”
Whitney Houston‘s two part interview with Oprah was a bombshell. Houston told Oprah about her dysfunctional marriage to bad boy Bobby Brown but she didn’t tell it all. It was easy to see that there were more in-depth issues, fights, and arguments during their 14 year marriage that could have been discussed but Whitney decided to not go there. What the diva did say was surprising.
“He slapped me once, but he got hit on the head three times by me,” Houston told Oprah Winfrey. She even talked about how Bobby spit on her after a birthday party bash in Atlanta .”[I] was horrified he spit on me, in my face”. Added Houston “He had such hate in his eyes for me, because I loved him so much.”
Whitney’s Drug Abuse
During Brown and Houston’s marriage the couple used crack-cocaine and marijuana. The drug phases would leave Whitney in her room all day and night not wanting to leave, see anyone, or do anything. Whitney did check into a drug rehabilitation center in Atlanta with her daughter Bobbi Kristina for 30 days but the drug usage continued. Cissy Houston (Whitney’s mom) was concerned about her daughters well being that she enlisted the help of the sheriff deputies to force her to enter a drug rehab. Whitney recalls her mom saying “I’m not losing you to the world. I’m not losing you to Satan. … I want my daughter back. If you move, Bobby, they’re [sheriff deputies] gonna take you down. Don’t you make one move. And he stood there like — he was scared.”
Bobby’s Emotional Abuse
Along with the drug abuse was the emotional abuse that Bobby inflicted on Whitney. Brown took the backseat during most of the marriage to the pop icon and she believed that he was jealous of her career. Houston would downplay her success in order to boost Bobby’s self esteem. “I tried to play down all the time. I used to say, I’m Mrs. Brown, don’t call me Houston.’”
At one point in the marriage Brown was cutting her head off pictures and painting evil eyes on their bedroom, floor, and house walls with spray paint. Despite all of the emotional abuse Houston felt that “He [Bobby] was my drug. I didn’t do anything without him.”

Whitney Houston Comes Clean On Oprah
Whitney Houston tells Oprah everything in a two-part interview set to air on Monday September 14th. The So Emotional singer opens up regarding her drug abuse, career, and tumultuous marriage to bad boy Bobby Brown. Whitney’s drug abuse was so bad at one point she stayed in bed wearing only her pajamas for 7 months. Oprah previewing the extremely candid interview said: “It will leave you gasping. She does not blame Bobby Brown and she takes full responsibility for her engagement in drugs.” I am glad that Whitney is clean and can get on with your career and life.

Whitney Houston Is Back
Whitney Houston was performing yesterday on the Good Morning America show promoting her new album I Look To You and I loved it. It’s nice to see her healthy and doing what she loves to do. Whitney brought her gorgeous daughter Bobbi Kristina on stage with her for an impromptu performance to Your Love Is My Love.
