Rihanna To Star in Sexy Remake of The Last Dragon
Didn’t you just love the 1980′s movie The Last Dragon? Leroooyyyyyy!!!Rihanna has been cast as a sexually charged dominatrix co-produced by RZA from the Wu-Tang Clan and Kerry Gordy (son to the original film’s producer, and Motown creator, Berry Gordy). Samuel Jackson is set to take on the role of Sho’nuff. I think this is gonna be a great movie. According to The Mirror:
“She has landed an incredibly challenging role alongside Samuel L. Jackson. But it’s not a part for the faint-hearted. She will play a super sexy, super kinky dominatrix. She has been told to research the part and this could well include a trip to an S&M dungeon.”

Rihanna’s Tearful Night In New York
It’s been a tough year for Rihanna since her beating from ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. Rihanna’s resilence and perseverance has not gone unnoticed and she is the 2009 Women of the Year Award for Glamour Magazine. The bajan beauty spent over 50,000 to fly in her entire family to New York for the big event and to also thank them for their support through this rough patch in her life. Missing from the festivities was Ronald Fenty, Rihanna’s father. The pop star told Diane Sawyer last week that he’d abused her mother when Rihanna was a child. Rihanna said during her tearful acceptance speech, “I really look up to my gran and my mom. They are my two women of the year . . . Without their unconditional love and guidance, I wouldn’t be here.”
Other Glamour women of the year awards were given to Maria Shriver, Maya Angelou, Stella McCartney, Amy Poehler, Jane Aronson, Serena Williams, Ambassador Susan Rice, Euna Lee & Laura Ling and a special recognition to First Lady Michelle Obama.

Rihanna On “Good Morning America”
Earlier today Rihanna was interviewed by Good Morning America‘s Diane Sawyer regarding her February assault. The Bajan music star said she had to end her relationship with former boyfriend Chris Brown after realizing the message she sent to her fans by going back to him after he assaulted her. Check out what Rihanna had to say about being attached to her abuser Chris Brown:
“That’s embarrassing that that’s the type of person that I fell in love with. So far in love. So unconditional that I went back. It’s humiliating to say this happened. To accept that? It’s a traumatizing experience.”
Rihanna admitted she made a mistake:
“When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result into some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part,” she told ABC’s Diane Sawyer during the first part of an exclusive interview. “I couldn’t be held responsible for telling them, ‘Go back.’ Even if Chris never hit me again, who’s to say that their boyfriend won’t? Who’s to say they won’t kill these girls?
Rihanna on not being perfect:
“I fell in love with that person; that’s embarrassing,” she said. “So far in love, so unconditional that I went back.” That’s not what I want to teach people,” she added. “But I’m a human being, and people put me on a very unrealistic pedestal. All these expectations – I’m not perfect.”
Rihanna said she came to understand that her initial reaction (of going back to her abuser) was typical of many victims of domestic violence. But the glare of the media spotlight made it even more traumatic. “There are a lot of women who experienced what I did but not in the public, so it made it really difficult,” she said. “I felt like, ‘Oh my God, here goes my little bit of privacy, just [having] exposed something that nobody wants anybody to know. Here I am, the whole world knowing.’”
During the interview, Rihanna admitted that Chris put her in a headlock twice that night and bit her on the ear and fingers. In August, he was sentenced to five years of probation, six months of community service and one year of domestic violence counseling.
We are glad that Rihanna is coming out and I think this will help other victims of domestic violence.

Rihanna Looks Spectacular In Venice
Damn we know Chris Brown is missing some Riri after looking at these pics. The 21 year-old Barbadian beauty is in Venice, Italy to attend her manager Marc Jordan‘s wedding. Justin Timberlake is working on Rihanna’s new album coming out in November. Timberlake who is also the producer/collaborator gave us some insight into Riri’s new album:
“The stuff we’ve come up with in the studio, it’s the next step for her. “It’s a little more grown-up. It’s got some edge to it.”
Other artists collaborating are: Akon, Drake, Kanye West; Ne-Yo; No I.D.,Pharrell Williams,Sean Garret,Sean Kingston,Soulja Boy, The Dream, and Tyson Ritter (All-American Rejects) just to name a few. Can’t wait until November to hear it!

We all know that Rihanna’s pretty well known for her diverse style. She can go from hipster, to haute, to grunge, to straight up see through shirts with her ta-tas out with complete ease. She’s definitely very confident in every piece of clothing she wears, but we never expected her to go trapeze!

Rihanna Laughs As Chris Tweets
Yesterday Chris Brown must have been missing his ol’ thang Rihanna because he was tweeting all day. “Sorry yall, just one of those days.” He then posted a link to his Youtube page with a video showing nothing but pictures of RiRi and him when they were happy. The video also played the lyrics of his new song Changed Man. Wack! Chris then wrote: “MY HEART IS INCOMPLETE… the part that is complete is my love for fans, career, friends, family.. god. but im missing someone or something.’”
C-Breezy wrote his last tweet hours later after getting some bad responses: I AINT POSTIN S*** ELSE ABOUT ME(PERSONALLY)…. IM SO OVER ALL THIS BULLS***..

Jay-Z Pissed At Beyonce: Parties With Rihanna Instead
Who honestly would have thought Jay-Z could have been mad at Beyonce for allowing Taylor Swift to speak? A little birdy with a big mouth (Wendy Williams) stated on her show today that Jay-Z was pissed off that Beyonce did just that. The BluePrint 3 artist left the MTV Video Music Awards show early without his wife and hit the afterparties (40/40 Club, 1Oak) with his cute little protege Rihanna. Now we all know that Rih Rih and J apparently had a “thing” back a few years ago. Beyonce was rumored to have not exactly been too happy about their relationship as well. Jay wouldn’t slip on his marriage……would he???
