T.I. showed his support for his fiancee/girlfriend in New York last night. The pair were together at Tiny’s Alzheimer’s Fundraising Event to drop off a 10,000 check and to raise awareness about the disease. Not too long ago T.I. wanted to let Tiny how she was appreciated since his lockup and decided to buy her a brand spanking new Porsche Panamera with a red bow waiting for her. It’s great to see T.I. supporting a great cause and his girl!

Atlanta Rapper TI left to serve his one year and a day bid at an Arkansas federal prison yesterday afternoon. Clifford J. Harris, Jr. aka TI aka federal prison inmate # 59458019 married his baby mama Tameka “Tiny” Cottle over Memorial Day weekend. The newlyweds will have to wait to take their honeymoon but they did party it up in Miami with family and friends who were witnesses to their marriage. A close friend of the couple said that:
“It’s been a crazy situation around here with all that has been taking place. In regards to Tiny and T.I., yes they are officially husband and wife. It recently took place in a very private ceremony with only members of the immediate family and certain members of the Grand Hustle family.”
Congratulations to the newlyweds we hope he got enough nookie cuz he is gonna be away for a minute. Do y’all think we will get to see some pictures from the wedding?

The time has come for T.I. to wrap it up and head to the concrete jungle. The 28-year-old rapper, whose real name is Clifford J. Harris Jr. has to report by noon Tuesday to the Federal Correction Institution at Forrest City, Arkansas. T.I. was arrested after trying to buy unregistered machine guns and silencers from undercover federal agents in 2007. The Grammy award winner gave his last performance to his hometown of Atlanta last night to a packed Philips Arena.
T.I. brought his five children on stage at one point, holding their hands while performing “No Matter What”, and let the crowd know that he hoped that everyone learned from his mistakes. We’re sure he definitely has, and we’re sure it’ll be a short night ahead of him this evening. We can’t wait for your comeback!

It’s almost time to wrap things up as 28 year old T.I., real name Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., gets prepared to turn himself in. Word just came in that he’ll be turning himself in a low security prison in Forrest City, Arkansas in 11 days before noon on May 26.
He’ll be submitted to the general population rather then being isolated like most thought he would be. Apparently he and others aren’t concerned one bit about being around other criminals. The prison has roughly 1500 inmates, whom are probably likely to either try to f-ck with him or try to spit a verse or two to hopefully get put on after release. Oh, and Clifford will have a room mate. Let’s hope it’s not Bubba because T.I. is a little dude. Did you all catch him on his “TI’s Road to Redemption” trying to lift with no shirt on in the gym? Boy….times are gonna be rough.
T.I., Ja Rule and others help Al Sharpton head the Anti-Gun Rally in Harlem yesterday. We have to admit, this was definitely a great cause, and TI had a lot to say including a sincere apology for all of the wrongs he’s done. Does a good cause and jail time within the next 30 or so days equal possible early release? Even Al was was on the defensive saying that a guy like T.I. shouldn’t be going to jail.
We also love the fact that Al confessed to being “Gangsta!”

The rapper T.I. is going to jail after a October 2007 arrest for attempting to illegally purchase guns. After a search of his home the police found additional weapons resulting in a felony conviction. T.I.’s bodyguard turn informant was supplied with $12,000 to purchase machine guns and silencers because the rap star is already a convicted felon from a 1998 drug conviction which forbids his from owning guns. T.I. struck a plea deal last March which included a $100,000 fine, 1,000 community hours before he serves his jail time, and another 500 hours after his sentence of 1-year and 1 day ends.
T.I. has made good on his community service with MTV documenting his good deeds on the documentary “Road to Redemption” where T.I. tries to help young inner city kids stay off streets and out of trouble. Because of his sentence of 1 year and 1 day T.I. could get out of jail for good behavior. The Atlanta rapper will be working on a new album after his release. T.I. said:
“Presumably, while I’m there, I’ll be able to strategize my comeback…Preparing myself for the days those doors open, when I put my feet back on the ground of the free world. It’s just months of planning. It’s just a long time to roll the project out. I ain’t gonna just be sitting still doing nothing. The wheels will be turning, just the car ain’t going nowhere.
Good Luck to T.I. we hope he has learned his lesson.
