Tom Cruise Catches A Football Game For B-day Down Under
Definetly not a Hollywood birthday bash but a pretty cool birthday. Tom Cruise along with wife Katie Holmes went to a football game between Essendon and Collingwood in Melbourne, Australia sans daughter Suri. A few friends tagged along with the couple including Katie’s co-star in her new flick Don’t Be Afraid of The Dark Guy Pierce and James Packer. It’s great that Tom is supporting his wifey by traveling down under where she is filming. Katie’s movie is directed by The Extraordinaire Guillermo Del Toro and is expected to be released in 2011. I am a tad bit excited to see Guy Pierce in this movie, loved him in Memento. Happy B-day Tom!

Katie Holmes Has To Quit Her “Filthy Habit”
Tom Cruise has demanded that Katie quit her nasty habit of smoking! Katie recently started to smoke again and Tom is furious over it. A snitch recently stated that: “He’s [Tom] livid she’s started smoking again and is doing everything he can to put pressure on her to quit what he calls a filthy habit.”Who knew that Katie was a smoker? Definitely a closet smoker.
Scientology Beliefs
Tom who is a devote Scientologist follows a disciplined life with detoxification regiments that are apart of his beliefs. The Valkryie actor has given demands to his actress wife before. Katie allegedly went under a Scientolgy Sparkle detoxification after some high ranking members of the sci-fi cult advised that she was looking gaunt. The purification is an extreme detox where Katie was given high doses of vitamins and had to spend five hours a day in a sauna sweating out all of her toxins. Katie was overlooked by a homeopath and a doctor to ensure that her skin does not have any breakouts. An insider said the makeover was Tom and Church of Scientology leader David Miscavige’s idea. In addition to the sauna treatments Katie took part in a beautifying process where she supposedly spent two days getting massages, facials, and mani/pedi’s. That does not sound too bad.
Besides Katie’s smoking problem the couple is also arguing over whether or not to add onto their family. Holmes naturally wants to wait after having a “silent” birth with no anesthesia, while Tom is eager to have a little one running around. Tom seems a tad bit controlling I am sure he will get his way.
