Criss Angel The Cat Thief
This has got to be one of the most funniest things we’ve heard all week. Criss Angel is truly being sued for stealing a cat from Vegas showman Jeff Beacher. There is obviously some type of bad chemistry between the two, because Angel must have known that Beacher had an extremely close bond with his cat. The cat, who’s name is undisclosed, was a member of Beacher’s family for quite some time, and given that his parents passed away he decided to take the cat in. So did Angel. The part that had us LOL was the messages that Angel left about the fact that the cat is obviously NOT going back home. He’s happy where he is.
“Beacher’s lawyer, Robert Reynolds, wrote to Angel: “After both of Mr. Beacher’s parents passed away due to cancer [two years ago], his family’s cat (“Hamlet”) was bequeathed to him by will. At the time, Mr. Beacher was residing at the Hard Rock Hotel [in Las Vegas]. Accordingly, he allowed his friend Jennifer Madden to temporarily care for the cat until he moved out of the hotel.
“Soon thereafter, while still grieving over the recent loss of his father, my client received a phone callfrom you stating, ‘I took your cat. He lives with me now’ . . . This action was against the will of Ms. Madden and Mr. Beacher. I also understand that you made further bizarre allegations, including, ‘The cat no longer likes you’ and ‘The cat and I have become close friends.’ “
Now THAT is funny prank. Can you really take this guy seriously? I’m just curious as to how this thing is going to end up. We’re hoping there is more to this story.
