David Carradine’s Hanging Photo: Was it Suicide? or Kinky Sex?
David Carridine’s photo of him hanging in his Bangkok Swissotel Nai Lert Park luxury hotel room has hit the internet and has pissed his family off. David’s fans were eager to see the last picture of their favorite actor or maybe it was a case of disturbing curiosity but questions have emerged regarding his death. Was it suicide? or was it Auto Erotic Asphyxiation (cutting off oxygen to heighten sexual pleasure)? At this point no one knows. According to Thai police David’s hanging photo has him with his hands tied in front of him, along with his genitals and neck wrapped in a rope which has led his family to believe that someone was with him before he died. There was no sign of forced entry into his luxury hotel room.
Carradine’s ex-wife of 10 years said that he like bondage and would do it all the time. According to the NY Daily News:
“David was pretty strange,” said Gail Jensen, who was married to Carradine for 10 years. “He would tie himself up, and I would walk in and see him and say, ‘Oh, my God, David, you’ve got to be kidding me. “Jensen spoke one day after the discovery of court documents filed by Carradine’s fourth ex-wife, Marina Anderson, detailing his purported taste for “potentially deadly” sex and incest.”
Whether he liked kinky sex or not the Carradine family is threatening some tough legal action against ANY US MAGAZINE that publishes the hanging death picture. The family has hired Mark Geragos to assist in what the family anticipates will be a legal battle with any agency that decides to publish the picture. In addition to Mark they have also hired a forensic pathologist Michael Baden to conduct a second autopsy on Carradine in the US and of course to dispel any rumors of auto erotic asphyxiation. Carradine’s body left Thailand on Friday to head to the icon’s home in California.
“There’s a great concern that we don’t know what happened,” Geragos told the Daily News. “The family doesn’t know what happened, and it’s tough to grieve that way. “All they are looking for is some answers.”
The Kill Bill’s family has also tried to get the FBI involved but the FBI has advised that they have no intentions to investigate the case. According to Pornthip Rojanasunan, director of the Thai Central Forensic Medicine Institute, the death of David was abnormal and that it points to sex games because: 1) the dead was a man, 2) the dead appeared to have sexual deviation, 3) the body was naked, 4) the sex organ was tied. The autopsy results won’t be out for weeks so until then we are left to wonder.
